Inspired by the story of her great grandmother who was a single parent living in a foreign Country without any support, Ann Marie spent a great deal of time tracing her genealogy, obtaining documents about her ancestors and documenting her family tree. She grew up in a large family with six siblings, eight nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles and hundreds of cousins.  She was born in the Phillipines, moved to the United States when she was eight years old and grew up in Northern California.
 
Ann Marie is a single parent, a proud mother of an amazing daughter, an Entrepreneur, a Networker, Founding Ambassador of Successful Thinkers, Inc., an aspring Humanitarian and the Author of Single Parents by the Bay.  She is also the Founder of Single Parent Resources, Inc. -- a company recently created to provide valuable resources for Single Parents living throughout the United States.
 
When Ann Marie's life as a single parent began, she realized that single parents need support and guidance.  Ann Marie found a need for single parents living in the Bay Area and Greater Bay Area and the resource book that she created with other single parents was the solution that she was looking for.  She collaborated with her friends who have a great deal of experience as single parents in order to accomplish such a big project.  The amount of time she spent researching her genealogy prepared her for the necessary research that will be provided on all the resource books that will soon be available from Single Parent Resources, Inc.
 
Ann Marie's Charity:  5% of all proceeds from this book will go to Kids' Turn, the only dedicated provider of a comprehensive program for children and family members who are affected by familial separation.  Kids’ Turn helps children navigate through the difficult emotions associated with family reconfiguration and teaches family members support skills for affected children.
